We now know which fighters to expect to release during Street Fighter V's fifth Season.

During a Summer Update released on YouTube today, Capcom released a roadmap for the fifth Season of Street Fighter V. The roadmap revealed the new characters coming next Season, as well as the other bits of content that players can expect. The Season will begin this winter, and will continue through fall of next year.

The first Season 5 update for Street Fighter V will drop this winter. The update will introduce Dan to the game, along with 4 costumes. There will be a number of other costumes as well, as well as with a new stage. Finally, the update will change up the battle balance, and introduce a new battle mechanic. The YouTube video that featured the roadmap also gave a sneak peak at Dan in action. The second Season 5 update will release in Spring of 2021. This update will bring Rose into the game, along with her own stage and additional costumes. There will also be other new costumes.

Street Fighter V's third Season 5 update will release two new characters in summer of 2021: Oro and Akira Kazama from Rival Schools, a 3D fighting game that was released for the original PlayStation. These characters will come with additional costumes. There will also be a new stage for Akira. The final update will release in fall of 2021. A new character will be released, though the identity of that character is unknown at the moment. There will also be more costumes and another stage, as well as another battle balance.

Street Fighter V: Champion Edition is currently free-to-play (thanks GameSpot). This version of the game features all 40 characters currently available in the game. The free trial will run for the next two weeks.

Street Fighter V: Champion Edition is available now for PC and PlayStation 4.

I have been playing video games for as long as I can remember. I am a huge fan of JRPGs, though I also enjoy fighters. I have been writing about video games for a few years now. If it has a great story, I am sure that I will dig it.
