It looks like NetherRealm Studios might be ready to move on from Mortal Kombat 1.
The developer announced Mortal Kombat 1: Definitive Edition, releasing today, which is a collection of the base Mortal Kombat 1 and all its DLC characters, along with some extra content.
The release includes both Kombat Packs, Shang Tsung, who was originally a pre-order bonus, instant availability for Havik as opposed to needing to unlock him, and a selection of character skins based on the recent Mortal Kombat movie and its upcoming sequel, and will cost $60 for the Switch version and $70 on other platforms.
What’s In The Definitive Edition?
A full list of contents can be found on Mortal Kombat 1: Definitive Edition’s Steam listing, but the playable characters you can expect to find include both Kombat Packs, giving you access to Noob Saibot, Cyrax, Sektor, Ghostface from the Scream franchise, Terminator 2’s T-1000, Conan the Barbarian, Invincible’s Omni-Man, Quan Chi, DC’s Peacemaker, Ermac, Homelander from The Boys, and Takeda Takahashi, along with the aforementioned Shang Tsung and Havik.
The Kombat Packs also give you the Kameo fighters Madam Bo, Tremor, Khameleon, Janet Cage, Mavado, and Ferra, not to mention...
