Kingdom Hearts 4 really seems to be pushing Sora into the modern era, as the latest batch of screenshots show that he's somehow got himself a smart watch in Quadratum.
I'm not sure there's ever been such a rollercoaster time to be a Kingdom Hearts fan. Just yesterday, Square Enix announced that it was cancelling Kingdom Hearts: Missing Link after years of development and seemingly nearly being finished. That gut punch was then followed up earlier today with a brand new look at Kingdom Hearts 4, the first in more than three years.

Although the new look was clearly just a bandage over the Missing Link bullet hole, it did finally give us Kingdom Hearts fans something to drink in one of the series' biggest droughts. The new screenshots are full of interesting details (such as playable Mickey in what appears to be Scala ad Caelum), including one that suggests Sora is finally learning technology a little bit more.
