The official Onimusha Twitter account (which is run by Capcom) has confirmed that Oyo’s special outfit has been censored in the Onimusha 2 remaster to “reduce skin exposure”.
It’s been a long time since Onimusha fans have had anything to be excited about, especially after the reportedly lacklustre sales of the first game’s remaster made the series' future look bleak. That changed over the past year and a bit, though, as Capcom confirmed that it's not only working on a brand-new entry, but also releasing a long-awaited remaster of the second game later this month.

That remaster isn't just a graphical upgrade of the original game, as it's also coming with some new content, improved controls, and a number of quality of life improvements. Most of the changes seem to have been positively received so far, but there's been one tweak that some fans weren't so happy about - Oyo's special outfit.
