Temtem will be coming to yet another platform in 2021.
During Sony's most recent State of Play episode, it was revealed that Temtem will be releasing on the PlayStation 5 in 2021. This will be the fourth console that the game will release for, as it is also coming to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch at some point. On the PlayStation Blog, developer Crema did state that more information on the PlayStation 5 version of Temtem will be released in the future.
Temtem saw the release of a major update last month. The update added a new island for players to explore. The new island added new Tems, techniques, and its own story line. The update also added Clubs to the game. Players can form and manage clubs now, the game's version of clans. Up to 50 members can be in a club, and can be built by any players. Club members can build their own banner, which will be displayed in every member's profile as well as competitive battles.
The new update also made some adjustments to the game as well. Chat saw some changes, such as the ability to whisper to any user, and the ability to talk to club mates. Safety functions, such as blocking unknown whispers and other users, as well as reporting messages, were added to chat. There are also now chat bubbles for the local, club, and whisper chats, which were implemented in order to help the game feel more alive and let players communicate faster. The level cap for Tems was also increased to 58, ten levels higher than before the update dropped. The game's price was also raised from $35 to $37.50 when the new update was released.
Temtem is available on Steam through Early Access at the moment.
