A new update is hitting GTA Online next Week.
Developer Rockstar has announced that a new update will be released for GTA Online on August 11th. The update will be called the Los Santos Summer Special, and will feature a wealth of content. Galaxy Super Yacht owners will be able to take on an all-new series of missions. These can be done solo or with up to three shipmates. There will be plenty of action for sailors, including deep-sea diving and high-speed hi-jinks on the high seas. Players will also be able to take to the streets in new Business Battles that will take place in surprising locations, which will give out serious rewards. The Diamond Casino and Resort will see a range of Adversary Modes taking place on the premises.
The Los Santos Summer Special will bring over a dozen new vehicles into the game for players to purchase. This includes rides for Benny to customize, off-roaders, tunable sports cars, and a pair of new Open Wheel vehicles. Gamers will be able to push them to the limits in a series of new open Wheel races. They will also be able to design their own street circuit with the new Open Wheel Race Creator.
A number of general improvements and fixes will come to GTA Online through the Los Santos Summer Special update. There will also be the ongoing series of weekly special events and bonuses for players to take part in over the coming months.
Rockstar did state that gamers should stay tuned for more information what is to come later this year when Heists return to GTA Online in the game's biggest ever update.
GTA Online is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The game will be making its way over to the PlayStation 5 after the console releases later this year.
