Just A Year After Launch, Call of Duty Warzone Mobile Support Is Ending

We have bad news for those who play Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile. Activison has announced today that the free-to-play mobile game based on the Warzone battle royale title available on consoles and PC will be shutting down.

Activision has confirmed that the mobile game will not receive new seasonal content or gameplay updates effective immediately.

COD: Warzone Mobile Is Already Dead And It's Just Been A Year

The announcement was made on the game's official Twitter/X /X account, where Activision also confirmed that players won't be able to purchase Call of Duty Points or Black Cell starting on Sunday, May 18, 2025.

Activision explains, "We deeply appreciate your dedication and passion for Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile. Going forward, we will be streamlining the scope of the game. This decision was made after careful consideration of various factors and while we're proud of the accomplishment in bringing Call of Duty: Warzone to mobile in an authentic way, it unfortunately has not met our expectations with mobile-first players like it has with PC and console audiences."
