Over A Decade Later, GTA 5 Is Still Pushing Five Million Units A Quarter

By this point, it's clear that Grand Theft 5 has seen its fair share of re-releases and ports. Of course, the game first came out on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 way back in 2013.

Then, a year later, the game was then brought forward to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in a more enhanced version. Flash forward to 2022, and the game was ported once more, this time to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series hardware. Oh, and if that wasn't enough, back in March, GTA 5 Enhanced Edition came to PC, though that upgrade wasn't nearly as well-received.

The only place where Grand Theft Auto 5 isn't available is the Nintendo Switch, and, who knows, that could change as Take-Two affirmed its support for the Switch 2 in early February. If all of that wasn't bonkers enough, then wait until you hear about just how many units GTA 5 is managing to push all these years later.

It may be tempting, but you'll probably regret it.
