An Ultimate Edition for Control has been announced. 

On the Control website, an Ultimate Edition of the game was announced. Control Ultimate Edition will include the base game, The Foundation expansion, the upcoming AWE expansion, The Expeditions end game mode, Photo Mode, and all of the content updates that have released on the original version of the game so far. Control Ultimate Edition will set gamers back $39.99. 

Control Ultimate Edition will launch for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Epic Games Store, and Steam. It will release on Steam on August 27th. The digital version of the game will then make its way to the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on September 10th. A physical edition for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will come out at the end of 2020. The game will release digitally for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X at the end of 2020 as well. Finally, a physical edition for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X will launch in early 2021. 

Those who buy Control Ultimate Edition on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will be able to upgrade to the next-gen versions of the game for free. This will only apply to the Ultimate Edition of the game, and will not be available for those who own the original version of Control

It was recently announced that Control's second expansion, AWE, will release on the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on August 27th. Along with the expansion, a free update will release as well. The update will grant players a new upgrade for Launch called Multi-Launch, more checkpoints for the trickier main story missions, and some quality of life features. 

Control is Available now for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. It will come to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X later this year.
