The long vampiric curse of The Elder Scrolls series sinks its bloodsucking teeth into some new prey with the release of The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered.

While the ability to turn into a vampire has long existed in the franchise, the success of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim brought the series to new heights, introducing the universe to a whole new audience of gamers. Now that a newly remastered version of Oblivion is here, veteran Skyrim and other new players are discovering just how horrible it really is to be a vampire in the game.

Being A Vampire Isn't As Exciting As Some Thought It Would Be

While some players might see the allure of being a vampire in the open-world RPG, a vocal portion of the community has posted their displeasure at getting the sickness.
