Hotfix #32 for Baldur’s Gate 3 launched today, aimed primarily at combatting remaining bugs with cross-play, introduced last month with Patch 8. This minor Hotfix also made some small fixes to some of the abilities belonging to the new subclasses, as well as a few other minor fixes.
In addition to a new Hotfix, Larian also bundled the announcement in with Community Post #34, letting them dive into detail about cross-play, their take on the new subclasses, and plenty of community art. First, in a section entitled “Cross-Play – A Brief How-To Before You Begin,” Larian explains the steps you need to undergo in order to play Baldur’s Gate 3 across different consoles, including how to enable the feature, add friends, and host or join a lobby.
Larian has also gone through the trouble of writing out brief descriptions of each new subclass added with the huge Patch 8 in order to “help you choose,” followed by showcasing plenty of meme-laden art made by the Baldur’s Gate 3 community on X, Reddit, and their Discord server, some of which was made using the new photo mode in the game.
