The highest-rated RPG of 2024 is making its way to Xbox Game Pass in May 2025, in what is one of the best gets of the year, proving just how great the service is for fans of fantasy games.
In 2025, Xbox Game Pass fans have already received GOTY contender Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, an incredible turn-based RPG in the vein of the old Final Fantasy games. There’s also the “surprise” shadow-drop of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered onto the service, which has been a huge critical and commercial hit.
2025 is adding another heavy-hitter to Xbox and PC Game Pass. According to the official Xbox website, Metaphor: ReFantazio is coming to the service on May 29. Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can also play it via Cloud Gaming.
