Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout's second Season is currently being teased.
On Twitter, Geoff Keighley teased at a second Season for Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout. He stated that there will be a world premiere sneak peak for the upcoming Season at this year's gamescom Opening Night Live. The event will begin at 11 a.m. PST on Thursday, August 27th. No other details were given on what to expect for Fall Guys' second Season. The upcoming Season could include new costumes, levels, games, and tweaks to the title, though that is just speculation at this point.
A Fall Guys tournament has been announced for next week, and will be entitled FallMania (thanks GameSpot). The tournament will be held by eSports player and speedrunner GrandPooBear, and will be open to all Twitch streamers. Those who are interested can sign up here. The tournament will be held on August 27th, and will feature a $5,000 prize. The tournament will be winner-take-all, and will be a part of upcoming events that will each have a $5,000 prize.
Earlier this month is was announced that Fall Guys has become a major success. The game has sold well over two million copies since it has released. The game's developer, Mediatonic, also stated last week that there has been a large drop in cheaters. The developer did state that it is no longer necessary to individually report cheaters, as they have been tuning their detection criteria.
Fall Guys is a battle royale style title where a group of players play a number of mini-games in hopes of being the last one standing. The game offers a number of customization options for players to deck out their little guys and stand out from the crowd. It can be expected that more ways for players to customize their little Beans will come in Season 2 of the game.
Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is available now for PC and PlayStation 4. The game is currently a freebie for those who have a PS Plus subscription.
