We now have a confirmation on Yakuza: Like a Dragon's official release date.

A new trailer for Yakuza: Like a Dragon has been released, and confirms the game's release date. The game will release for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on November 13th. It will release on the Xbox Series X when the console drops. As for the PlayStation 5, the trailer just states that it is "coming soon."

The new trailer for Like a Dragon also showed off some of the classes that players will be able to take on. This included Idol, Musician, Chef, and more. Each of these classes come with their own often times goofy attacks, helping the game keep a more lighthearted feeling despite the premise. We also get to see a good amount of combat, which is a far cry from previous Yakuza titles.

Like a Dragon follows Ichiban Kasuga, who had to face an 18-year prison sentence for a crime that he did not commit. He serves his time, and returns to society to find that no one is waiting for him and that his clan had been destroyed by the man he trusted the most. As Ichiban sets out to get his life back, he draws a ragtag group of society's outcasts to his side: Adachi, a rouge cop, Nanba, a homeless ex-nurse, and Saeko, a hostess with a mission. Together they are drawn into a conflict brewing in the city of Yokohama, and must become the heroes they never thought they would be.

Like a Dragon stands out from other Yakuza titles as it uses turn-based combat rather than the normal real-time system that fans of the series may be used to. Players will be able to choose from 19 classes, and can use bats, umbrellas, signs, or anything else at the disposal to take down their enemies.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon will release for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on November 13th. The game will also release for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
