Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory now has a release date.

During a surprise Nintendo Direct Mini presentation, it was revealed that Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory will release on November 13th. The game will release for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. The game is available for pre-order now.

Melody of Memory is a rhythm game that features over 140 music tracks for players to traverse through. These tracks include music from the Kingdom Hearts franchise, as well as a number of memorable Disney tracks. There will be over 20 characters featured in the game, as well as boss battles for gamers to take on. Stages are themed after scenes from both the Kingdom Hearts series and the Disney universe. Levels shown included Frozen, as well as a boss battle against Melificent. There will be a number of different modes for players to go through, including Memory Dive, where gamers play stages from past memories. Players will also be able to unlock a music player and cinematics, which will allow players to relive scenes from the Kingdom Hearts series.

Memory of Melody will also feature multiplayer modes. The game will support local co-op and online play, as gamers compete to get the highest score. The Nintendo Switch version of the game will include a Free-For-All mode which feature local-play for up to eight players. According to Square Enix, gamers can choose their level of challenge. Players can enjoy the songs without complicated controls, or showcase their skills with complex combos to show off the ultimate performance.

Melody of Memory will also feature a new chapter in the Kingdom Hearts story. The story will focus on Kairi, though not many details have been given.

Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory will release for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch this November.
