WWE star Cody Rhodes has jokingly slammed the modern Mario Kart and Mario Party games for being too forgiving, showing a lot of love for the Nintendo 64 era of the company.
The Mario Kart games give players who have fallen behind the chance to catch up by restricting the powerful items to the people in last place, most notably the Chain Chomp, which possesses the kart, making it invincible and stopping it from falling off the sides. Similarly, the Mario Party games give out Bonus Stars to those who have fallen behind.
During the opening day event for Universal Epic Universe and the Universal Orlando Resort, WWE star Cody Rhodes was asked about Mario Kart, and he expressed some surprising opinions about the franchise.
