One of the new weapons in Doom: The Dark Ages, the Dreadmace, offers even more ridiculous proof of how strong the Doom Slayer canonically is.

In the world of video games, there is a near-infinite supply of contenders for the most powerful protagonist in gaming. Characters like Kratos, Dante, Sonic, Master Chief, the Dragonborn, and Cloud all instantly jump to mind for their ridiculous feats of strength against massive enemies, but let's not all kid ourselves here - we know the Doom Slayer is number one.

A dark age for cutscenes.

Ever since his first game, Doomguy has been making it very clear that there's not a single obstacle that he can't rip and tear his way through. We've seen him kill gods, demons, armies, and pretty much everything in between, and that strength is shown in full force in Doom: The Dark Ages.
