This is the latest update to one of gaming's best redemption stories. When No Man's Sky launched nine years ago, it felt like an incomplete mess that didn't come close to delivering on the promise and expectations. It was one of the worst game launches of all time. A day before the release of the Nintendo Switch 2 console, Hello Games offers players who own No Man's Sky on Nintendo Switch a free update.
The game will feature a "much higher resolution," an increased frame rate, and an improved texture density on the Switch 2 console.
