Fortunately, if this new rumor is to be believed, we can expect an update that incorporates enhanced features for the open-world cowboy game soon.

The news comes from reliable leaker NateTheHate, and in his latest video talking about the Xbox Showcase predictions, the insider claimed, "Those rumors were true: Red Dead Redemption 2 is getting a next-gen update and the game will be coming to Nintendo Switch 2 later this year."
While no definite timeframe was revealed on when we can expect the Switch 2 version of Red Dead Redemption 2 or the PS5, Xbox Series X|S patch will be released, NateTheHate adds, "It should be a few months after the Switch 2 launch, so I'm thinking late summer, early fall window."
