One of the surprise releases at Sony's latest State of Play digital event was Grasshopper Manufacture's new action game IP, Romeo is a Dead Man.
Odd title choices aside, the game marks the studio's first all-new release in five years, and it's being directed by Goichi "Suda51" Suda, a renowned game developer behind titles such as No More Heroes, Killer Is Dead, Lollipop Chainsaw, and more.
The trailer reveals the game's premise, which involves time travel and features a lot of bloody action.

In the press release sent out, it describes the game as, "Super bloody action, crazy twists and turns to blow players’ minds, and a mess of old-school gimmicks—all rolled into one wild ride.
