Xbox fans waiting for the day that Game Science's action hit Black Myth Wukong finally graces their console, there is a light at the end of the tunnel!
After months of waiting, Game Science has finally given a release date for the Xbox version of Black Myth Wukong in a few months.
This was after the developers blamed the low specs of the Xbox Series S, which were announced earlier this year, as the main culprit for the Xbox version's delay in the first place.
Black Myth Wukong Xbox Version Isn't Just A Myth Anymore
Game Science announced today that the Black Myth Wukong Xbox version will be available on August 20, 2025. And yes, this is for both the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. Pre-orders will begin on June 18 at select regional Microsoft Stores. Note that both the release and pre-order dates are set in Beijing Time, and given the timezone conversion, this translates to the game's release date in the US as August 19 at 12 pm EDT/9 am PDT.
