"We’re Not Done Yet": CDPR Confirms Cyberpunk 2077 Is Getting Another Update Later This Month

Six months after releasing a "final" patch to Cyberpunk 2077, one that succeeded the other major patch that was intended to be the game's final update, developer CD Projekt Red has announced that — you guessed it — Cyberpunk 2077 is getting one more big patch. What's more, it'll be released before the end of the month.

In a post shared on social media, CDPR's Global Community Director revealed that "we’re not done yet," as the game will get another patch, dubbed 2.3, that has been "cooking" in secret, according to Associate Game Director, Paweł Sasko.

Official news of an upcoming patch follows some rather intriguing rumors about another piece of DLC that may or may not come to the game.

Playing Cyberpunk 2077 on the Switch showed me the new handheld's true power.

Originally, someone in the Cyberpunk subreddit spotted on LinkedIn that an employee at Virtuos had listed "Cyberpunk 2077 DLC" as their project. They reportedly verified the person's authenticity via Moby Games, which TheGamer can verify does indeed exist.

It's worth noting that the mention of Cyberpunk and its DLC has reportedly since been scrubbed from the LinkedIn page.
