After countless reveals for games launching in 2026, fans finally received news about something coming out soon, as the Gundam Wing-style robot extraction shooter, Mecha Break, had its release date revealed, and it’s only a few weeks away.
Mecha Break is a 3v3/6v6 shooter with multiple modes, where the player gets to design and customize a massive mech suit, one straight out of anime. Players have had the chance to try Mecha Break via its open beta, letting them wreak havoc in their robot gear.
One of the big reveals made during Summer Games Fest was for the release date of Mecha Break, which was unveiled with a cinematic story trailer, showing off its ravaged world and the machines battling for the last remaining land. The trailer can now be viewed on the official Xbox YouTube channel.
Mecha Break Launches In July
Mecha Break will be released on July 1, 2025. The game will be coming to PC via Steam and Xbox Series X/S. Those who want to be notified when it’s available can wishlist it on digital storefronts.
