One of the most intriguing games shown off during the Day of the Devs event is Consume Me, an upcoming life-simulation RPG that combines elements of Persona and WarioWare into one package.
Developed by Jenny Jiao Hsia and AP Thompson, Consume Me is an RPG that eschews fighting monsters or exploring the stars, instead opting to be about surviving teenage life. In this case, it’s Hsia’s day-to-day struggles to get healthy, find romance, and get through school intact.
A new trailer for Consume Me was shown during Day of the Devs, offering a fresh look at its bizarre and unique mixture of gameplay styles, where the scheduling of the Persona games is fused with the micro minigames of the WarioWare series. More importantly, the devs finally revealed the release date.
