Techland has finally revealed a release date for Dying Light: The Beast at Summer Game Fest 2025. Along with a gameplay trailer, it was revealed that the game will be launch on XXXX. We already knew that the game was set to launch during this period, as revealed during The Game Awards 2024, but it's been radio silence since then.

The short trailer for Dying Light: The Beast gave us our best look yet at how it's going to play, which is, unsurprisingly, very close to the other Dying Light games. The highlight of the reveal is that it's coming on August 22, so it's not far at all.
Dying Light: The Beast will be bringing back the game's original protagonist, Kyle Crane, but he's not the same as you remember. This version of him was captured and experimented on for years, so we're going to see a much darker side of the character. However, there will still be some version of the Crane we remember somewhere in there.
