After one of the busiest weeks in gaming (which is saying something in the year that GTA 6 got delayed), Xbox just rounded off the tidal wave of news with its Xbox Games Showcase, which featured a ton of announcements. While most of the reveals were great as long as you weren't hoping for something concrete on Hollow Knight: Silksong, there was also some bad news.

During the showcase, Xbox confirmed release dates for several of its upcoming games, including Ninja Gaiden 4 and The Outer Worlds 2, with the latter being a big focus of its lineup. Those release dates mean that pre-orders for both games are now live, which has revealed a sad but unsurprising fact about The Outer Worlds 2.
