As is always the case during Summer, the past week has been absolutely massive for gaming news. We've already had a ton of reveals during PlayStation's State of Play and the Summer Game Fest Showcase, but things just got even busier thanks to Xbox.
Just like it does every year, Xbox had its own showcase to focus on the games that it's bringing to the table in 2025 and beyond. While this stream wasn't as ridiculously late for us UK folks as SGF and State of Play, we're still bringing you a rundown of everything that was revealed at the showcase.
Given the choice between a next-gen Xbox and an Xbox handheld, I'll pick the handheld every time.
Kicking off the show was a brand-new trailer for The Outer Worlds 2, which came as a bit of a surprise considering it's getting its own dedicated showcase right after the Xbox one. Still, we got a nice new look at the game and its "power of capitalism" vibes.
In a very strange first world premiere, High On Life is getting a sequel! The trailer looks very much like the first game, so expect talking weapons and plenty of weirdness....
