Two Final Fantasy Games Are Finally Coming To Xbox Consoles

Xbox gamers, your wish has finally been granted.

As revealed during Sunday's Xbox Game Showcase, Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade is coming to Xbox after more than five years as a PlayStation exclusive. What's more, it won't be the only Final Fantasy game coming to Microsoft's platform.

In addition to FF7, it was announced that Final Fantasy 16 will also be coming to Xbox. Oh, and if that wasn't enough, FF16 is available today, like right now.

Sunday's announcement was made with a two-minute-long trailer, giving fans an inside look at both games, along with some of the features they'll get to experience on Microsoft's flagship console, such as Xbox Cloud.

It's bittersweet looking back at Final Fantasy 7 Remake five years later: a great game that kickstarted a misguided trilogy.

The reveal of Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade and Final Fantasy 16 on Xbox puts to bed what was an increasingly developing saga that saw Square Enix constantly reaffirm its desire to put its games on Xbox hardware, though with no announcements being made.
