Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic fans don't have the best luck. After getting an incredible RPG from BioWare in 2003, the follow-up from Obsidian was rushed out of the gate - but was still brilliant. Even better than the original, depending on who you ask. Well, if you person you ask is me, anyway.
I digress. This is all to say that the series was never given the chance it deserved, leaving fans waiting for more. There's the MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic, but that's no good if you want another single-player RPG. So, that's why there was a lot of excitement when the KOTOR Remake was announced back in 2021. But as we should be used to by now, something has clearly gone wrong, as we've seen nothing from the game since that initial teaser.
Now, another Summer Game Fest has come and gone, with the KOTOR Remake nowhere to be seen. So, a fan has taken the matter into their own hands, using a series of mods to improve the original game, giving us something of an unofficial remaster.
