This weekend at Summer Game Fest, Techland finally revealed the release date for Dying Light: The Beast, a standalone game in the franchise that gamers can purchase and play, even if they don't own Dying Light 2.

At the event, it was announced that Dying Light: The Beast's release date is set for August 22, 2025, which is just two months away.

While Dying Light: The Beast is in development for last-gen and current-gen consoles and PC, it appears that the development of the last-gen versions isn't progressing as well as that of the current-gen versions.

Dying Light: The Beast On PS4 And Xbox One Delayed

On the official Dying Light website, tucked away at the bottom of the page's FAQ section, it confirms that Dying Light: The Beast's release on last-gen platforms has been delayed to the "end of 2025," with no specific date.
