The sequel to Ori and the Blind Forest is now on the Nintendo Switch.
Ori and the Will of the Wisps is now available on the Nintendo Switch. The news was dropped during a Nintendo Direct presentation that was held today. The game is retailing for $29.99.
It was also announced that a collector's edition for Ori and the Will of the Wisps is on the way from iam8bit. The collection will set gamers back $149.99, and comes with a good number of contents. The collector's edition comes with physical editions of both Ori and the Blind Forest as well as Ori and the Will of the Wisps, both of which come with reversible cover art. Players will also receive both game's soundtracks digitally. The set also comes with a stained glass style art piece, hard enamel, glow-in-the-dark pin, and a collectible art card set. Gamers will receive "The Flora and Fauna of Ori" field guide, and a sketchbook zine, featuring rarely seen production art. All of this comes housed in a "transforming" display box with a glow-in-the-dark finish.
Ori and the Will of the Wisps released on PC and the Xbox One this past March. The game features a vast and beautiful world filled with enemies. Players will experience challenging puzzles and thrilling escape sequences. The game features a new combat system, allowing players to wield dozens of new spirit weapons, spells, and skills. Gamers can choose from these tools to match their playstyle. Players will face epic bosses while seeking support from discoverable allies who will provide services and grant optional quests. Players can also race to the top of the leaderboards with the new Spirit Trials mode, which has gamers race for high scores in speed-run challenges throughout the game.
Ori and the Will of the Wisps is available now on PC, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. The game was popular with critics, and holds OpenCritic's Mighty rating.
