Hollow Knight: Silksong fans are down bad. After expectations were raised over and over again that the game would appear at one of this year's summer showcases, it was once again absent, apart from a joke during a Deadpool game reveal, and a few seconds of gameplay and a polite nod at the Xbox event this past Sunday.
It showed up as a footnote in a handheld sales pitch.
With no firm release date in sight, despite a recent tease from one of the game's publishers, Silksongers have been scouring its appearance during the Xbox Showcase for any hints they can. Although slightly far-fetched, they think they've found one, and it comes in the form of the achievements displayed on Microsoft's newly announced Rog Ally X.
A new post on the always normal, never hysterical Hollow Knight: Silksong subreddit has been gaining traction over the last few hours, with the original poster, oknozor, stating, "Silksong will be released between July 21 and July 27, I have proof."
