It's been no secret that Halo's golden edge has begun to fade. Halo Infinite - a game that in many ways is actually quite good now - didn't launch that way. And that blunder has certainly not been an isolated case.
In a move that feels both inevitable and unbelievable, Microsoft may soon be allowing Halo to appear on a Sony console.
This information comes to us through Grunt.API - an unofficial source, but one that has found some very reliable leaks in the past. In short, they've made a very significant discovery: in the Halo retail API, there is evidence of a PlayStation 5 port of a currently-unknown Halo title.
Grunt.API clarifies that there is still no word on anything Nintendo Switch 2 related - this is just Halo on PlayStation.
As for which game could be coming to PlayStation, the list of probable suspected is fairly short.
