Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine - Master Crafted Edition is a remaster of the original Space Marine, released on June 10. The original game is a classic, and Space Marine 2 also impressed a new generation of players when it was released last year.

Warhammer 40,000 has been going from success to success on the video game front, with Darktide, Rogue Trader, and the aforementioned Space Marine 2 all impressing in recent years. However, that streak could be coming to an end with Space Marine - Master Crafted Edition.

The remaster is not going over well with players. The game currently sits at a "Mostly Negative" review score on Steam, with over 70 per cent of the reviews marked as negative.

"I was very excited at the idea of this being updated, but honestly..." begins Crazy_Braesy. "I prefer the older version. It feels better and looks better. Why couldn't this just be an update or something? The price tag feels very meh, and this is one of my all time favourite games, too. Just gonna install the older version and play through that."

The Master Crafted Edition costs $39.99, while the anniversary edition of the original is $34.99.
