FBC Firebreak Gets Steam Deck Approved Badge

Ahead of its June 17th release, Remedy's upcoming co-op shooter FBC: Firebreak has been Steam Deck verified.

The news comes the same day as Remedy's update on the game's upcoming roadmap for 2025 and beyond.

2025 is a big year, not just for extraction shooters, headlined by FBC: Firebreak, ARC Raiders, and Marathon, but handheld devices as well.

The big name ticket was this month's launch of the Nintendo Switch 2, but Microsoft has also been in the news for handheld devices. During Microsoft's Xbox Games Showcase, they officially revealed the ROG Xbox Ally X from ASUS. Codenamed "Keenan," the device was designed to look like an official Xbox device and can play games through Xbox Game Pass, Steam, Ubisoft Connect, and GOG. That includes FBC: Firebreak.

FBC: Firebreak Developer Remedy Entertainment Continues To Impress

Following a strong end to 2024, Remedy seems primed for another great year in 2025. Last year saw the release of Alan Wake 2's Lake House DLC. FBC: Firebreak is a new IP for Remedy Entertainment that expands the already established Remedy Connected Universe, currently comprising Alan Wake and Control.
