While Gears of War: Reloaded isn't due out until August, this weekend it's set to have a cross-platform open beta, where long-time fans can see all the improvements, and PlayStation gamers can see what they've been missing out on for decades.
Xbox exclusives are now a thing of the past as Gears of War prepares for its PS5 launch.
Unfortunately, for all parties involved, it looks like the beta is not off to a smooth start, as connectivity issues, plus other problems, are impacting players' ability to, well, play.
All throughout the Gears of War subreddit, there's no shortage of posts showing players struggling to connect with others online, leading one player to redub the title as Gears of War: Loading.
If that wasn't enough, some players aren't even able to access the beta, as their free upgrade to Reloaded for owning the original Gears of War: Ultimate Edition still hasn't arrived.
