Season 4 of Tekken 7 will begin soon.

Tekken 7's fourth Season will begin sometime this fall (via GameSpot). When the Season starts, a new character will be released for the game. The character is the kunoichi Kunimitsu, the daughter of the original Kunimitsu from earlier games in the series. Brief gameplay of Kunimitsu was showcased in a trailer for Season 4, which can be seen here, giving us a rough idea of how she will play. It was also announced that a new stage will drop with Kunimitsu. The new stage is entitled Vermillion Gates, and is surrounded by sakura blossoms on a moonlit night. In the trailer, it is shown that the stage will feature a transition.

Season 4 will also include a free update along with Kunimitsu and the new stage. There will be a number of enhancements made to the game through the update, including new moves for every character. There will also be user interface enhancements, and online play adjustments. There will be a new feature called Tekken Prowess, which will track a player's rank and stats, and a rank system overhaul that will add a new title called Tekken God Omega.

It has also been revealed that a new character and stage will come to Tekken 7 sometime in 2021, though no information on the character and stage has been released as of yet.

On Twitter, game director Katsuhiro Harada revealed that Tekken 7 has reached over 6 million sales. He also went on to state that the series as a whole has now sold over 50 million copies.

Tekken 7 is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. There has been no word yet on when Season 4 will begin, though it should be soon as we are heading into the fall season.
