Switch 2 Players Have Already Found A Way To Make The Joy-Con Mouse More Comfortable

If you hadn't been keeping up with the leaks, the Nintendo Switch 2's ability to turn its Joy-Con into a mouse would have been one of the console's biggest initial surprises. Although shaped like the Switch 1's Joy-Con, the new iteration can be placed facing downwards and used as a mouse. It was shown off in relation to the upcoming Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, with mouse controls seemingly being a key way to play the shooter.

The Switch 2's launch lineup was rather slim, but Nintendo could easily win us back with sequels to these games.

Unfortunately, while the Joy-Con mouse is a great innovation, it's not the most ergonomic piece of kit, and extended use is likely to leave you with a bit of a creaky wrist. It looks, though, that just a week after its release, one engineering Switch 2 fan has found a solution to the issue— it just requires a 3D printer, or at least knowing somebody who has one.
