They talked about major updates planned for the rest of the year, including some big changes that could significantly reshape the Fallout 76 experience.
Earlier this month, Bethesda rolled out a large update for Fallout 76 called “Gone Fission,” which kicked off Season 21 with a fishing-themed set of challenges and rewards. The update added a full fishing system as part of the “Casting Off” questline, which starts at Fisherman’s Rest in the Mire. Fallout 76 players get an upgradeable fishing rod and can fish in any swimmable body of water, with bait effectiveness depending on the weather. Alongside this, the update brought major combat balance changes, mod adjustments, improved healing and travel features, and a wide range of quality-of-life improvements across the game.
