GameStop, the largest video game retailer in the US, has been facing ongoing issues as more and more gamers shift to a digital storefront future.

It appears that the retail chain has something big up its sleeve, as a new teaser has been revealed today.

Yes, you read that right. It's not just games teasing an announcement nowadays, but even video game retailers are getting in on the act, too.

The official X (formerly Twitter) account released a teaser today in the form of a video where the retailer says "something new is coming soon," and we get a glimpse of what appears to be an old school arcade.

There is also a follow-up tweet that directs users to the GameStop website, where they can sign up for updates.
