PS Plus member now know which games they will get for free in the month of October.
On the PlayStation Blog, the two games that PS Plus members will receive in the month of October were revealed. The first is Need for Speed: Payback. In Need for Speed: Payback, players will take part in thrilling heist missions, partake in metal-crunching car battles, and more. Payback is set in the fictional Fortune Valley, and has players choose from three characters, each with their own unique skills. Gamers will be able to customize their rides and take on a large number of events as they seek revenge on the ones who have wronged them.
The second game coming to PS Plus in October is Vampyr. Developed by Dontnod Entertainment, Vampyr challenges players to embrace the darkness in a third-person action-RPG featuring deep narrative choices set in 1918. Gamers take control of a doctor turned vampire wandering through a London that is gripped by violence and fear. Players will have access to supernatural abilities and man-made tools and weapons that can use to either fight or flee from the forces of evil and vampire hunters. Gamers can save the city's citizens, or feed on them to become stronger. However, giving into the bloodlust can result in grave consequences.
Need for Speed: Payback and Vampyr will be available for PS Plus members starting Tuesday, October 6th. They will be available until Monday, November 2nd.
PS Plus members still have the chance to claim September's free games. September's games, Street Fighter V and PUBG: PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, will be available until Monday, October 5th.
PS Plus grants players access to online multiplayer. Every month, members receive free games and discounts on the PlayStation Store. Members also gain access to 100GB of Cloud Storage, and Share Play, which allows friends to play games together, even if they do not own the same games.
