Earlier in June, Pokemon GO teased a new item coming to the game soon, briefly revealing the image of a bottle cap. In the mainline Pokemon games, Bottle Caps are used to max out a Pokemon's IVs to help them reach their full potential. The item was first introduced in Gen 7, but it didn't make its Pokemon GO debut despite fans' demands. Fortunately for players, Bottle Caps are officially coming to the mobile title, and the developers have revealed how they will work.
