Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered has been officially revealed.

In a blog post, EA officially revealed Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered. The game will release for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on November 6th. It will then make its way over to the Nintendo Switch on November 13th. 

Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered will feature cross-platform play, allowing friends to play together no matter which platform they own the game on. Players will get challenges delivered to them based on their friend's activity for asynchronous competition through the Autolog system. Autolog will be supported with cross-platform sync, which will players to keep track of their friend's activity no matter which platform they are playing on. Hot Pursuit Remastered will feature all of the originals' DLC at launch, and will feature brand new achievements, car colors, wraps, reduced hard stops, an updated photo mode and gallery, and multiple quality of life updates. 

Both sides of the law will be able to push the world's most desirable supercars to the limit in Hot Pursuit Remastered. Cops can bust suspects with enhanced tactical weaponry, while suspects can use counterattacks and defensive maneuvers. Players can experience a single-player career that delivers action on both sides of the law, which will be seamlessly linked with multiplayer experiences across all modes. Gamers can play through the career mode solo in order to earn Bounty and unlock new cars, weapons, and equipment. 

Hot Pursuit Remastered will feature enhanced visuals. The Switch version will run at 1080p / 30 fps in docked mode, and at 720p / 30 fps in handheld mode. The PC version will support 4k / 60 fps depending on player specifications. Players will be able to choose between 4k / 30 fps or 1080p / 60 fps on the PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X. The base versions of the two consoles will play the game at 1080p / 30 fps. The remastered version of Hot Pursuit will feature higher-resolution models, longer draw distance, boosted textures, more particles, and more. 

Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered will release for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch in November.
