Stellar Blade's jump from the PlayStation 5 to Steam has been a resounding success. While the game was successful on the Sony platform, it took less than 24 hours to break a record set by every other title in the PlayStation to PC pipeline. It took just another 48 hours for developers Shift Up to confirm the game had sold over a million copies.

We already know that a sequel to the game is in the works, with a report stating it's due for release next year and Stellar Blade's director confirming he wants to focus on its story. But before that, it seems like the game could be coming to another platform—the Nintendo Switch 2.

A new report from PlayForum, a Korean technology news outlet, translated using DeepL, states that, "Shift Up has officially begun development on the Nintendo Switch 2 version of its flagship title, Stellar Blade."
