The sequel to the hit military sim series, Arma 4, is still a couple of years away from launch, and right now, we know very little about the game. But in Mirko Minenza's recent tour of the studio, executive producer Natalia Agafonova might've just casually let slip where it takes place.
"There is a part at around five minutes where the executive producer shows the interviewer a meeting room with a mural that is an 'Arma map of the Cold War'. The EP then says if you look very carefully you will find an island on the mural that isn't there in real life," u/LuckyGunz pointed out on r/arma. "The interviewer correctly points out an island north of Poland and southeast of Sweden that doesn't exist [in real life]. The EP says that she cannot confirm or deny and to wait for Arma 4 to find out."
This confirms the rumours that Arma 4 will take place during the Cold War.
It "could all be a troll from the EP for the interview", but it sure sounds like they're teasing the setting—a fictional Polish island. That might not sound like much to go on, but fans quickly started digging into...
