The next few updates have been detailed for Genshin Impact, which will include new areas and events.

On the Genshin Impact blog, the next few updates were revealed. It was also announced what the updates will entail. The first update, version 1.1, will drop on November 11th. The update will include the Unreconciled Stars event. Version 1.2 will release on December 23rd, and will introduce the Dragonspine area, and its related event. Finally, version 1.3 will release in February 2021. This version will introduce the Lantern Rite event series. 

On the blog, the developers of Genshin Impact revealed that they will be doing their best to make sure that an update is released at least once every six weeks. Each update will be released on a Wednesday. It was also revealed that every version update will come with its own themed activities. The game's development team also stated that they will combine the unique cultural and calendarial features of in-game regions with dates in the real world to host unique events in Mondstadt and Liyue. This includes Lu Di Harpastum and the Windbloom Festival in Mondstadt, or the Lantern Rite and the Moonchase Festival in Liyue. 

Genshin Impact has become a massive success since releasing last month. According to Niko Partners senior analyst Daniel Ahmad, the game grossed more than $100 million in less than two weeks. It is the most successful launch for an original IP from a Chinese developer. Genshin Impact was the #2 highest grossing game globally on iOS in its first week. According to data from App Annie, Genshin Impact was downloaded more than 23 million times on mobile devices in its first week. 

Genshin Impact is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, and mobile devices. The game will eventually be making its way over to the Nintendo Switch.
