It remains the most current, accurate, and up-to-the-minute simulation of Major League Baseball, and that extends to its time-limited events. To commemorate some major happenings in the MLB this week, MLB The Show is getting an equally major update, and you can earn a lot of free stuff by playing along.
According to the official PlayStation Blog, MLB The Show's next big update coincides with the MLB's upcoming All-Star week and the Home Run Derby. Available beginning today, the start of the 2025 MLB All-Star Week, the update includes a wide variety of free rewards for all players. You'll be able to obtain a free All-Star player card, participate in a virtual draft, and even play through a special Midsummer Classic Program between today and Tuesday.
