GTA 6 Fans, Mark Your Calendars For August 7

If you're a Grand Theft Auto 6 fan, keep an eye on August 7, because it's possible we may get an update on the game's development then. During Rockstar Games' parent company Take-Two Interactive's May earnings call, CEO Strauss Zelnick stated GTA 6 would "exceed player expectations," noting the game as Rockstar's most ambitious project yet and also doubling down on the game's May 26, 2026, release date, which many have expected to get pushed back further.

According to an announcement from Take-Two Interactive, the company will be hosting another quarterly earnings call on August 7 at 4:30 p.m. ET/1:30 p.m. PT. In the past, Zelnick has discussed ongoing development for projects, so we could get a glimpse at the current state of GTA 6 there. The call can be watched on Take-Two's website, and it will cover the financial earnings projections for quarter one of 2026.
