Kinetic Games has released a sizable new update for Phasmophobia, with a few more additions after last month's massive Chronicle patch. The July 10 Phasmophobia update includes a few additional pieces of recordable video evidence, expanding on the new video recorder feature.
Given how much Phasmophobia has to offer, it's easy to forget that it's technically still in Early Access. The game's now-outdated Steam page claims the plan is to "get to a full release late 2024," a deadline that has obviously already been missed. Regardless, Phasmophobia has made great use of the Early Access system, and Kinetic Games has continued to frequently update the game over almost five years. It's already a blast to play, so it's exciting to think that it could get even better before its 1.0 launch.
The Chronicles Update came in at the right time to facilitate Phasmophobia as the next step in my ongoing fitness journey.
