PC gamers that act fast have the chance to add six new games to their digital libraries between Steam and the Epic Games Store. One of the big advantages of PC gaming is that it gives players access to a near-endless supply of free games with no subscriptions necessary. Whereas more "free" games on consoles actually require a subscription, the vast majority of free games on PC are genuinely free.
As long as PC gamers are willing to visit multiple storefronts, they can build an impressive collection of digital games. On Steam, the free game giveaways are more or less random, whereas Epic Games Store users are given new free games every Thursday at 10:00am CT. Currently, there are free games available on both platforms.
Epic Games Store users might have only one game to add to their libraries on July 17, but the title includes so much bonus content that it's a steal.
